DE Open Circuit fungiert als offene Plattform für eine experimentelle künstlerische Praxis mit und über Technologie. Relevante Themen sind das Verhältnis von Kunst und Wissenschaft, Deep Media, kinetische Objekte, Memory Machines, Rückkopplungssysteme, neue Ökologien, künstliches Leben, komplexe und emergente Systeme, Kybernetik und “other weird things to do with technologies”.
Die Teilnehmer sind eingeladen, aktuelle Themen, Interessen, Ideen und Projekte zur Diskussion, Vertiefung und Realisierung einzubringen.
EN Open Circuit acts as an open platform for an experimental artistic practice with and about technology. Related topics and subjects are the relation of art and science, deep media, kinetic objects, memory machines, feedback systems, new ecologies, artificial life, complex and emergent systems, cybernetics and other weird things to do with technologies.
Participants are invited to bring current interests/projects for discussion, deepening and realisation.
The course is open for BA and MA students of digital media. Fine art and integrated design students are welcome as well.
