The courses will be held in blocks, most likely on Monday evenings at 18:00. Final dates will be announced at the beginning of term.

The course offers three more or less independent but related workshops with a specific perspective on design, technology and art. The focus is on three software/design tools and approaches for artists and designers working with technology. All tools are open source.
The following workshops are planned:
- PCB design for designers/artists (KiCad and Perfboard)
- Generative 3D modes with OpenSCAD (code-based 3D design)
- Processing.org for designing, simulation and running installations
requirements
The workshops are definitely on the nerdy side. An affinity for coding is helpful. For the KiCad workshop it is good to have some basic knowledge of electronics, e.g. experience with Arduino. It might be good to have a small project idea in mind. For the Processing.org workshop it is also useful to have some basic knowledge of Processing/Java.
